Aerodynamics start to slow the acceleration pretty hard above 110 or so. Real testament to the powerplant to push that thing all the way to 175

In reality, I think the air temp was hurting the performance over 150 because of the air density effect on aerodynamics. What a machine!

I posted on another Trackhawk video yesterday that someone in my neighborhood brought a new Jeep over a week ago, and I didn't realize until a week later when I saw those yellow brake calipers from a distance that it was a damn Trackhawk. That's how subdued this vehicle looks.

This thing is very nice and is impressive 0-100; however, it's heavy as a tank and slows considerably at higher speeds, very similar to a Tesla 3 performance. Good tune and pulley will wake up the highway performance.

My mom's dream car is a Trackhawk, and guess what her current vehicle is? A 2013 Trailhawk with a 5.7 Hemi. That thing is already insane enough. Jeep only made 2000 Grand Cherokees with Trailhawk options in 2013.

I've always been curious, how long is your test track?

For having a 140HP increase over the BMW X5M (567 to 707) I would have thought it would have been faster but the two trucks are pretty much even with whoever gets the jump but the X5M seems to be the one that would start to walk the Trackhawk at higher speeds. Would love to see some highway street comparisons. Trackhawk 1/4 times from 11.6-11.9 but the best trap speed has been only 115mph and in fact most of the test I have seen and people taking their cars to the track are in the 113-114mph. The X5M is running slower 1/4 times from 12.2 to 11.9 but most trap speeds are in the 115mph and a few 116mph. The BMW is under rated for sure but why is the Trackhawk seems so much slower at higher speeds then I would have thought. I know the aero is like a brick but I was thinking it would be in the 120mph area. Gearing? Is there a gear change that is happening right at about 114mph and if it had a few seconds more after the 1/4 it would be pulling past the X5M?

i have a 2008 SRT Jeep and love it to death. whats weird is i have a buddy who has a 2016 SRT JEEP and we have raced multiple times stock for stock and i beat him every time to around 110-120MPH and we both really dont know how? he has 50 more HP and TQ i know his is heavier but he has shorter gears i reach 100mph with three gears he uses 5? is it as simple as the old ones are faster than the new ones? Trackhawk excluded

FCA is doing the damn thing, beast with this Jeep and Reliable with all this HP amazing, add another 100 or maybe 200HP to this badboy you can easily do 200MPH. But knowing Hennessy will push beyond that.

Awsome , people are saying watch the fuel gauge. But if you can afford the jeep to begin with ,then paying for fuel shouldn't be a problem !
