It does come down eventually. I had an rs6 for a short while nearly 10 years ago now and it was just under 5k to insure. I'm 37 now and cars like that are all around a grand when ever I check for quotes. Checked for a bmw m4 a few months back it was a 2019 competition and it was like 1200 quid.
