It was not about caring , it is sin in muslim religion to have a moment of silence! We don’t even do that to our people when they die , we just pray for them and thats it!

On 9:20 what happened was that the whole yellow team (Australia) vs idk who were the white ones they were singing their national anthem (So the white team did their anthem separated and didn't wait for Australia's to end while holding each others) instead they decided to separate and disregard Australia's anthem imagine even the fans standing up and singing an the white team just violated like if they don't care or forgot

The team was saudi arabia , and there was a minute silent for something i dont remember, but we dont do that in muslim religion coz ifs haram”sin” . We only pray for them for forgiveness , so it was not disrespectful at all it was just not what we do when people die.

There was a moment for silence about some attack but in Muslim countries we don’t have moment of silence and it consider sin so all what we can do is pray for the other team !
