I believe that in the beginning, when they were younger, Karen and Abby liked each other and despite how things worked out later, I like to believe that deep down, they knew they were family. After all, they both loved Sid.

Yea if you’re gonna built a resort that was environmentally friendly (which was Karen’s vision)...you don’t build your office over a stream
