My father would have loved this video. Both of his parents were from Polizzi. I have visited it twice. It is one of the most beautiful places that I have been. I brought back to Sfoglio for my father and badda beans. We saw the flour mill remains of the place my grandfather visited. We had wonderful meals with family we had never met. This was such a fun video to watch!

Thanks for sharing & what the Gentleman said is so special ,if you can visit one of your ancestral homes to keep the culture special. My wife has cousins still living south east of Palermo in Alia & I'm begging her to take the trip & maybe connect with extended family, what a special treat that would be 🙂👍

Thank you for sharing this amazing experience, I was born in this Town 69 years ago, I immigrate to the United States 50 years ago, but I always come back every year or every other year. By the way you presented this town really made a big difference in the way you explained everything for people that never been here before, and they might change their mind in the future to come and visit this little town. thank you so much for your great presentation. We were in Polizzi Generosa in May. It's the ancestral town of my husband. We actually met the woman in the store that you spoke to at the beginning of the video. Also, we stayed at Sciabaké b&b which is owned by the Schimmenti family. Is the man at the end of the video related to them? The people of Polizzi Generosa could not have been any kinder. We felt very welcomed.

You did a wonderful job in capturing the beauty of this ancient mountain town! A question, where did you film the cooking segment? Loved how you featured the famous dessert of Polizzi! Also…the Madonie mountains that you touched on in your video has amazing hiking trails and in the fall you will find locals foraging for mushrooms and chestnuts! How would you recommend getting around here from Palermo? My ancestors are from here and we want to visit however we didn’t want to rent a car, was hoping to take trains/busses from Palermo to Generosa. What was the tour bus you were on in the last clip? ❤😊
