Hard to believe Rolling Stone has Freddie King rated at number 25 of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time. Those dumbasses even put Keith Richards and George Harrison ahead of him. This guy was the King of hard rock-blues guitar. He schooled Clapton.

No wonder guitar Gods like Hendrix, Clapton and SRV honor him as one of their most important influences. But not only his playing also his vocals - just world class! Not to mention his extreme dynamic arrangement of the slow blues - still audible although youtube heavily compresses everything.
