Great plane! That boxwood looks very tough. I always love the moment you stamp your brand-it means something. One day I will make a plane I can stamp my name on and feel proud of it.

Another amazing build, absolutely phenomenal! Was it a piece of firewood to begin with, or some wood you’d left to dry in its natural state? When you used than gorgeous router I almost wanted to abandon this video to go and find that one. But if I’m going to be learning woodworking I'm going to have to work on my impatience for wanting everything now. I’m really glad I didn’t give way to my faults as I would have missed another masterpiece. Are they the Narex 8116 series of chisels please? I’m dropping hints to my wife to get me a set of six plus the 40mm for my birthday present this year. I already have a 3mm which I find really useful for tidying up as a newbie.

Dear Stavros, nice build of a beautiful tool. Size counts. I was looking through a local Antique store that has a nice collection of woodworking tools. There in a locked glass display case was a fully-functional plane modelled on the block planes you based yours on. This one fitted comfortably within the palm of my hand, measuring around 50 mm long, 30 mm high and 15mm wide. Everything about it was like a miniature, complete with the stopped bevels on the leading and trailing edges. Pity I cannot post a picture of it because it does look magnificent.

@StavrosGakos4 жыл бұрын
Musiałbyś spróbować coś z niego zrobić żeby zrozumieć dlaczego go używam :) Mam bardzo prymitywny zestaw do ostrzenia, szlifierka stołowa, osełka diamentowa, papier wodny i osełka skórzana.
@Drwal_19844 жыл бұрын
