I'm so glad to know there wasn't something wrong with me lol. I had the same set up and when the lights were turned off it couldn't see a thing and little 8 year old me would never get passed that part.

this game came out November 2001 for PS2 in March 2002 Xbox and Gamecube

I had this game on Ps2 Gamecube and Xbox180. They always looked the best on Xbox and GC, but Ps2 was nonetheless still just as awesome in its own ways.

The Game Cube was weaker then the PS2 so it should’ve looked better on the PS2

Is it me, or does the GameCube version look better? Granted, the GC version is on a smaller TV, so that could be it. The Xbox version looks muddy and has a low framerate from what I can tell. I got it today and checked this video to see if it was my disc.

Well it could be the case but I doubt it as the Game Cube had the weakest hardware out of the Original Xbox, PS2 and Game Cube. But it is possible that when they were developing this game there target platform was the Game Cube so a lot of the game is tailored toward that hardware hence why it would play better on the Game Cube

The only bad thing about the GameCube version is that the FMVs and audio are somewhat lower quality compared to the Xbox and PS2 versions, perhaps due to disc size limitations. But gameplay wise, it is much smoother than those versions.

The GC version also has limited dual stick controls because of the c-stick.

I came here for that exact reason, I grew up playing this on the GameCube and got wicked whiplash with the framerate and blurry picture when I fired it up on the Xbox today. A shockingly bad port.

Its not on the xbox 360, he's playing it on the original xbox. Sadly this game is not backwards compatible with the 360 thats why you cant get it to work
