the best part that gets me is when in skyfall daniel craig drops in to the train that is destroyed and the first thing he does is adjusts his cuffs, what a bond move

Regarding Dalton's suit - he often actually wore the shoulder holster in scenes. Craig didn't, as can be seen. There are times when Brosnan did, and you can see the outline of the weapon clearly. Dalton's loosely, but that is required to conceal the weapon. That would be an interesting topic for you to explore: How to dress with all the stuff we carry in our modern age - wallet, smart phone and yes, a concealed weapon.

A long time ago when I was a younger, less sartorial man, I tried to pair a charcoal dinner jacket with grey wool pants. So I was invited to my rack mates wedding (Navy), and wanted to stand out. I bought them separately because they didn't have the trousers in my length. I didn't match the product numbers right, I just went off what my eyes thought were close enough. Should mention now that I'm colorblind and can't tell dark colors apart. But I still rocked that suit like James Bond at a shipmates wedding, and because I was one of the few that didn't wear my dress blues, I earned the title of 007 by my closest friends in Navy A-school. Still have the "suit" and I have learned how to properly wear those items individually thanks to a certain KZfaqr...

Definitelly love these kinds of tips that you guve us where you talk about how a man feels emotionally about his outfit. I think that every time I put on one of my turtle necks I just instantly feel smarter and think that my outfit doesn't look good without my glasses.

Great video as always! I did just want to mention that at the two minute mark the watch that bond is wearing and the photo you showed is actually a Omega seamaster professional 300m. I do believe earlier in the film however he does wear a seamaster planet ocean large size on a rubber strap

Its weird years ago I was not confident and tried to compensate with nice clothing, watches , sunglasses etc but still I wasnt confident when I watched in the mirror, did I have luck with girls ? No way .........fast forward years later Im way more confident and girls be miring' me even if I go with a regular tshirt and jeans ..... Nowadays I don't care much about clothing style , its just a cherry on top of the cake .....Confidence is the cake . How you master confidence ? Feed your brain, develop yourself in any field you like, workout, eat healthy , maintain your skin, take things easy

Regarding Connery's tie in Diamonds Are Forever. Extra long ties for guys were very, very hard to find then, so tall guys (like me suffered. I remember anchoring the tie under my jacket, and never unbuttoning the jacket to hide ow short the tie actually was. Of course, the studio should have paid for custom ties, but...

I was wondering this, outfits ideas for a date, but here's the thing due to work I usually wear business casual, so how can I look sharp without using the usually outfit and without being informal cuz it's not my thing, and of course sloppy and baggy is not an option.

I was born in Italy. We button or unbutton as we please and the "spezzato" odd jacket and trousers is fairly popular. I really like your channel Antonio, but the American take on English conversion isn't for everyone.

I’m personally not a fan of the really tight or close fitting suit even if you’re built for one. I prefer a “classic” fit. Back to Bond: I’m estimating Dalton’s fit was to help conceal his pistol as well as for the style of the time.

All I know is that the film producers used to combine different combinations and styles to wear for the actors to reflect with the lightings and to get a good color for the background and the camera.

The best suit style for a job interview would be a one that provides for the simplest suit design, least of fanciful details and a one that do not go out of fashion. That is the classical men's suit. A two-piece suit with two or three button, regular flap pockets single breasted jacket with a notched lapel, and a single or double back vent.

A NOTE ENTITLED 'FIVE TRUTHS OF THE SHOPPING MALE' FOUND IN THE BREAK ROOM OF A HABERDASHERY: 1.) Men know nothing about clothing or fashion. 2.) Men hate to shop for clothes. 3.) Men come into a clothing store to buy a particular item, never to browse. 4.) Men dress for work and women, not for themselves. 5.) Men will wear clothes until they fall off their body. Though I think some of these truths still hold credence with older men, I would thank you, Antonio, for showing that many men DO care about what we wear and how we look wearing it.

OK When Sean Connery was Bond he was asked to sleep in the suit to see how wrinkle free it was so he would look dapper even after a fight. Next the watches, Do remember that he had watches that were customized with a couple little gizmos like lasers etc. so he had to wear the particular watch he was issued. That also goes for the other bonds. ;)

3 and 4 button suit coats should not exist. For suits, only 2 or 6, and 1 for a dinner jacket. 2 buttons should have notched lapels and 6 buttons should have peak lapels.

As always a great video! However, I'm sorry being that guy, but it's not correct that James Bond in Ian Fleming's books wears a silk tie and not a knitted silk tie. The Literary 007 prefers a black knit silk tie along with his navy blue suit and black polished loafers. If you travel a lot you can get away with some style misstakes. If you are an under cover special force soldier even moore so. I mostly find it strange that he dress as well as he does.
