In Q.6, the fraction turns out to be 11/7, then the old no. is 7 and the new no. will be 18, as an addition of 11 (comparative change). But when I solved it in this way the difference turns out to be 64. And the one which is done by you, the difference also turns out to be 64. Which one should I follow? Rectify my if I'm wrong. Thank you.

See we assumed A as 120% and B as 100% so C is 10% less than income of (A+B) which is equal to 120%+100%=220% Now, 10% is equal to 90/100 So, 220×90/100 =198% And further The question says actual value of C is 990 so by multiplying 198% by 5 we get 990% and hence when we want to get value of A we have to multiply 120% with 5 and the answer is 600₹
