It's just simple scraping plane. Great tool for removing machine marks frome wood surpace or for planing some crazy grains or veneers.. I hope you will enjoy it :) Regards!

I really liked how you used small pieces for wedge fitting and then used it as a template.

Hace 10 años construí mis primeros scraping planes. Incluso ahora mini scraping planes ya que soy Luthier y he creado más de 40 cepillos para Luthier.

Señor stavros gakos : la verdad me asombra e impresiona su trabajo para la fabricacion de cepillos para madera... su canal es fabuloso.... & todos sus videos tambien lo son , me inspiran para poder hacer proyectos propios , aunque no con tanto talento como el suyo. mi sugerencia seria aunque soy conciente que no estoy en condicion de sugerirle nada , si realiza un hanna japanese , tipico cepillo de la carpinteria de ese pais.... un gran saludo desde la argentina.

Generally, I find that diamond plates, like all abrasive stones, work better with some liquid to float the swarf out of the way. I use watered down windex.Thanks for these videos. Very imspiring. There's another fellow making planes by hand out of iron/steel/brass, but I think yours demostrates very well that all-metal planes aren't mandatory.

Very inspiring

All of your plane are awesome. Only one comment related to the anatomical orientation of wood. If you take a look to the old British plane Made out of beech you will notice that they are oriented in radial direction instead of tangential. This is to avoid the Natural swell and shrinkage due to rh and temperature change over a year. Resulting in a stable sole.

Entertaining to watch and great skill but much easier to drill through side to side and cut the block down the middle and use a saw instead of all that chiselling.

Audio was superb on this one.

I have one question; what is the angle on your scraper chisel for flattening the bed? You show us, we don't need to buy plane floats if we have one of those.
