What's the difference between OEE and uptime?
@Industrial_Engineering2 жыл бұрын
OEE calculation needs three things to be multiplied: availability, quality, and performance. Uptime is a measure of availability.

how did you calculate 27600 sec avialible?
@Industrial_Engineering2 жыл бұрын
Eight-hour shift with two 10-minute breaks during each shift i.e. 480 - 20 = 460 minutes = 460 x 60 = 27600 seconds

In the Stamping, how can we know EPE is 2 weeks, sir?
@Industrial_Engineering2 жыл бұрын
EPE relates to batch production. It depends on production plan. For example, if a machine is changed over in a sequence so that every part number assigned to it is produced every three days, then EPE is three days.

I think the question was in the Stamping activity datacard it is mentioned as 2 weeks and there is no mention of batch change in the case study so the question i guess. @@Industrial_Engineering

Hello Sir, This is a really good video. Easy to understand. I have a doubt in VSM to calculate the leadtime in timeline. May I ask for your email ID to send you a case I am working on?

How 27600 seconds available?
@Hllee6428Ай бұрын
It’s the available time per shift minus breaks. In this case it’s an 8 hr shift minus the 2 x 10min breaks as mentioned in Work time information at 2:52
