Thank you so much for this information. My husband has just had a tripple heart bypass operation. None of this information was provided to him. In the first day at home, most of these activities that shouldnt be done, he has done, i hope he has not caused any lasting damage. I am totally digusted with the way he has been discharged, with no written information, and only a note for a blood test in a week and 6 a 6 week follow up consult.

I’ve been doing it wrong! None of this was covered in our brief physio education. Also my arms aren’t long enough to wipe myself without twisting - short person issues!

It's been 3 months to my CABG. When can I do brisk walk, moderate push-ups and lye down on my chest for Yoga. I have been doing walking, theraband exercises for arms/shoulders and doing few leg raises while lying on my back for abs since last 2 months. No major pain in sternum as such but tightness is felt which fades away when I walk. How can I ensure that my sternum is completely healed. Before surgery I used to work out in gym being a fitness freak. When can I resume it please. Thanks 😊

Multiple studies have shown the 5lb limit is completely wrong. Pressing the button on a microwave takes 5lbs. You should update your video.
