I didn't know this man on a personal level,but I saw the footage on his death and it left me full of bitterness inside. May this young man rest in peace and my condolences goes out to his family. RIP.

Me too. I was so angry when I found out the backstory. I watched the footage for the first time last night. I wasn't aware of the situation. Why was the video recommended to me? I don't know but, Ofc. Jarrott has been on my mind all day. Condolences to his family, God is our comforter to those that mourn.

I feel the same way, this wonderful human being losing his life has made this planet worse. Can you believe there are subreddits where they’re cheering for his murder? It angers me to no end, this man was just trying to do his job and follow orders.

His daughter has his smile. I watched the video of his death and haven't really been the same since. I keep thinking about it randomly and how short life really can be... Rip sir and prayers to your family. That's a loss for a lifetime. I'm so sorry, he didn't deserve that 💔

What a beautiful soul. I just stumbled across a video of this kind officer helping a homeless man at the side of a highway by giving him a ride into town, buying him food, and giving him money from his wallet, only to read in the comments that he had been murdered while doing his job. My deepest condolences to his family. RIP Officer Darian Jerrott.

I don't know if you've seen the video of his murder but it's horrible. You may not want to see it and I wouldn't blame you if you chose not to. He seemed like a really good guy and that makes his death even more terrible 😢

I’ve been a law enforcement spouse 50+ years. It’s a difficult job, it takes a special person to do that job. It’s tough for the spouse and children too. Missed dinners, school events, missed holidays and weird schedules. There were very few Christmas Days daddy was home to celebrate. I worried constantly, lost sleep. Given that, we’d never change a thing. It’s an honorable profession, and I’m very proud of him. Glad he got to retire. Seeing that video of Darian Jarrott being killed broke my heart. I’m very shaken by it. May he RIP and prayers for his family.

Im a grown man. I dont really cry. Ive seen alot of not nice videos on the dark web. Ive seen alot of stuff. Alot of extremely brutal acts. But this one hit a higher nerve. A more brutal one than the others. This made me cry. I couldnt stop. It was really hard for me to cry when my mom passed because i was so young. But now being older and watching the last few moments of his life hit me really hard.

Rest in peace sir. This hits me hard in the gut, when I was lucky to be able to make it to retirement. He was the Warrior on that day, knowing he was pulling over a known dangerous felon.. He didn't shy away from danger.... And every single day, there are heroes just like him serving our communities. ALL of us lost a great man and he shall never be forgotten.... With a heavy heart, I salute you sir. I pray for ALL who were involved that day, it will forever haunt them. Please Lord, give comfort to the family and friends.

May your family rest their heads in bed, knowing you are always there watching over them... sometimes the way we love with a stern face with our kids, shows we only love them and want them to be their best... it may seem like a tight ran prison (my kids say), but, it has a pure heart of love and compassion... thank you and your family for your service... for I know to well, this job is done with all who loved you... see you soon brother!!!

Trooper Jarrott, losing your life was a horrible. The only thing worse that losing your life was how it all came to be. You were used as a pawn by HSI amount others. They sent you in to do their work without having the decency to tell you who you were up against. Like a lamb to slaughter, you had no clue you would be meeting true evil. I hope they can sleep at night. But family won’t for days, weeks and years to come. I urge everyone to research the back story of this event. Police Watch channel has several hours, 10 episodes, of video and audio recorded during interviews of several LEO’s involved. I am a supporter of law enforcement. But not of those who, through omission, played a huge role in this Troopers death. Rest easy Trooper Jarrott.
