The Northern Territory has been amazing! We've had the best time exploring the national parks and wild places, but it's now time to move on! We area all craving the ocean so we are making our way to Queensland!
Join us as we free camp along the way and eventually land in the stunning Atherton Tablelands and get our first taste of the rain forest at Millaa Millaa Falls. We also see our first wild platypus! We can't wait to explore QLD, let's go! 😎

You can certainly tell that you reached the coast as the colours changed so completely. Browns, yellows, reds changed to green, green and more green. It really is two completely different worlds. 🙂 Great score with seeing a platypus too. 😎

Ahh, the Darwin to Cairns run..we did it every year for a conference my parents were obligated to attend. In the 70's, it was unpaved with ankle deep bulldust and you'd pull completely off the road when a roadtrain was coming at you. We carried 3 55 gallon drums of fuel in the back and 30-40 gallons of water. I loved it as a kid, and my parents dreaded it 🙂

Thanks for your message and checking in 🙏🏻😊 We are all good thank you, we’ve been hopping between the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast in QLD recently, mostly caravan parks and probably a little boring to be filming. So we’ve been taking some family time and lots of sun and surfing! We’ve also had to fly home to WA real quick for quick photography job that we had booked in. Hoping to get back on KZfaq soon as we start to make a move back west 🙏🏻😎

Hi all We have a parkes 13 with a triple density mattress which we find quite hard. Just wondering if your 15 has the same and how you find it Thanks

Hi there! Aw yes the standard mattress was absolute rubbish. Ours was rock hard and was constructed from about 20 offcuts of foam glued together 🙊🤣 We replaced with a much softer option from Clark rubber, cut to size. We made it slightly smaller so it is a little easier making the bed and setting up 👌
