Git clean (which super-clean uses) does not affect stashes. It only affects untracked files.

@@jonnykopp I'm not sure I understand your question regarding 'pwd'. Git aliases are not like normal bash aliases, they only exist in the context of git repositories. You can get the project root via `git rev-parse --show-toplevel`, so you can use the value of that command to make sure you run a command relative to the git root directory. Depending on your version of git, 'git root' may also provide the same functionality. Thanks for watching!

@@DanGitschooldude Hi Dan - it totally works, it pulls the file for the specified commit, however I see two error messages: 1. "line 0: cd: git: No such file or directory," and 2. @@wkh4321music Hard to say exactly what's going wrong, but if you don't have bash as the default shell or git isn't on your PATH you might get strange errors like that. For example this likely wont' work at all on Windows. Try starting with very simple bash commands in your alias and add content until it breaks.
