처음 가죽을 만지기 시작했을 때는 그런 소리들이 너무 좋아서 더 만지곤 했었는데 이것도 작업을 오랫동안 하다 보니, 그런 소리들과 그런 느낌들을 잊고 살아가게 되네요 ^^ 다시 한번 일깨워 주셔서 감사합니다. 행복한 하루 하루 되세요~!!!

Wow, that was so much work, but your skills are top-notch and the bag is absolutely gorgeous! And as others have said, I really love that leather. Also the quality of your findings (snap, rivets, etc.) is very nice, not cheap looking. The only thing I would change, even though it was already so much work, is an inside and outside pocket, for the convenience of grabbing your phone. Women don’t necessarily wear things that phones can easily be carried in. Beautiful work! 😍😘 Now I’m going to see what other videos you’ve made, like for instance a supplies list if a person wants to get started in leather working. :)

개인적으로 직사각형이나 사다리꼴의 안정감있고, 별 장식없는 깔끔한 디자인의 가방을 좋아함. 거기다 색도 차분한 와인색같은거라 더 취저네.

Another lovely item! Classic Navico - simple and elegant design, practical stitching and size. And excellent quality leather ~ May I ask what lock you use? I see it introduced at 12:40 but there was no subtitle :P

원래 이런 통가죽류 가방은 보강제를 사용하지 않습니다. 잘 해야 밑판 정도 보강하는게 보통입니다. 그 맛에 사용하는 가방입니다.

스티칭 그루버는 원래 저희는 잘 사용하지 않습니다. 영상에서도 스티칭 그루버는 등장하지 않습니다. 혹시 스티칭 라인 긋는 도구를 말씀하시는 거라면, 6mm황동 사각 봉을 깎아서 저희가 자체적으로 만들어서 사용하는 것입니다. 그 외에 다른 것을 물어보신 거라면, 몇 분쯤에 등장하는 도구인지 알려 주시면 답변 드리겠습니다.

장식은 예전에 사 놓은 게 있어서 제작을 했는데 지금 찾아보니 저희도 찾기가 힘드네요;;; 예전에 일본 사이트에서도 동일한 장식이 있어서 다시 찾아가 봤는데 지금은 없네요;;; 아마 비슷한 장식을 찾아서 장식 부분 가죽 패치만 변경해서 만드시는 것을 권해야 할 것 같습니다. 이 가방 이후로는 패턴을 제공하는 경우 쉽게 구할 수 있는 장식이나, 범용성 있는 장식을 사용하는 것으로 방향을 정할 예정입니다. 감사합니다.

What is the machine called at 17:25 min and is there an alternative that can be used instead? It looks like it thins out the leather is this correct?

leather skiving machine. If you don't have such a machine, you can do the skiving yourself with a skiving knife.

6:14 how long is the strip for the handle? I just realised its not on the pattern 😅

I cut it to 20mm wide and 300mm long. You need to first cut it long enough, measure it yourself and then cut it.

@@navicoleather Thank you very much! That was a helpful starting point. Also, I found that the gusset pattern seems a bit short... the pattern is laid back to back right? I did that but the gusset ended up being short by about 1.5cm... checked this with a measuring tape as well. Could I have done something wrong? 😅

@@DenKHK The gusset pattern should of course be short. It can be understood only if you know the principles of pattern making. Since this video is not a pattern making course, I cannot answer why.

@@navicoleather Thank you for your reply! I'm not referring to the fact that the pattern is only half the gusset... Instead I'm pointing out that, after using the pattern halves, the resulting gusset seems to be a little too short 🙂

@@DenKHK That's what I mean. Short is right. It should be short. If the length is the same, it will cause problems in manufacturing. That is why it is necessary to know the principle of pattern making. When making this type of bag, it is a common amateur mistake to make the gusset length the same as the front length.
