I came here because I read about Householder transformations and immediately thought "What is so special about these things? Why don't they just call them 'reflections'? What other magical properties do they have that merits not just calling them 'reflections'?" Your video has correctly shown me that the answer is "nothing at all", maths just can't resist a fancy name and an unnecessarily complex definition in place of an intuitive explanation. By the way-my God, I love advanced topics in linear algebra! Let's go all the way with this course!
