03 - Hammond SK Pro - Organ Demo (very little talking)

Hammond-Suzuki's latest evolution of the SK line-up is an inspirational modern update to the concept of the all-in-one 'bread and butter' keyboard. It features killer organs (of course) using the acclaimed MTW1 engine found in the top of the line Hammond XK5, plus newly sampled acoustic pianos, electric pianos, clavs, strings, polysynths and more. It also incorporates a virtual analog monosynth with dedicated controls for sound shaping.
In this video, I'm just playing the organ because it's fun!

Great playing Jim! Video looks really good too. Hammond is doing the right thing making these instruments and putting them in the hands of players like you to demonstrate how they can sound in a musical context.

Wonderful playing, and the solo was absolutely awesome! I adored every moment, and what better way to "review" the SK Pro! I've been trying to decide between this and the Yamaha YC61, I'm a lead guitarist/singer/writer/keys in my own band, the keys sounds I play are mostly piano, rhodes and organ, and I'm unsure which to choose but it seems as though the SK will be a more lasting choice and the organ sounds appear to be unmatched from what I've heard... but those yamaha pianos...what to do? Currently using a midi keyboard/macbook with vsts and it keeps lagging/crashing on the odd occasion, so is unreliable for gigs... Thanks for great content.

You sound good! I noticed you dance in your seat, Jim. Have you ever thought of or used an electric desk to sit with the organ sometimes, or raise it up so you can stand and dance when playing?

Great playing here and I do like this organ tone. But for me a better demonstration of organs sonic abilities Would be to be more constantly playing with the drawbars and what other parameters can be played in real time

That engine sounds the most realistic of the clones (excluding the on board Leslie which is an improvement nevertheless) must sound ace through a 122.

The digital Leslie can be tweaked like crazy. Nothing replaces a real Leslie but I would definitely use the SK Pro without a Leslie or an external sim on a gig / recording.
