I think I need to watch the previous video. I want to take a list of strings, or an array, and get matrix to spread them out over jobs. In Jenkins I did that by maintaining specs for each worker, but there must be a way to iterate in GitLab. Thanks for content I can listen to, you have a great voice for this, subscribed.

in my case, it runs randomly which job to run under a stage. and will leave the other pending. How do i achieve this?

If jobs are pending that means the runner doesn't have enough executors to run any more jobs until one finishes. For gitlab.com runners this is unusual, but if you have a custom runner you'll need to adjust the max concurrent jobs setting for that runner.
