I grew up to listening with many rock bands such as Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, Limp Bizkit, Alice In Chain, Green Day, The Offspring but LP is the one and only that I use to listening almost every day since I was in high school. Hybrid Theory & Meteora are my favorite both are introduce me to Nu-Metal genre and Minutes To Midnight for me is underrated.

When I was growing up, I was looking for a band to follow and be part of the journey. You had a lot of bands around 1999. But all this bands had already started years before I really got into rock music. When I saw Linkin Park on MTV was the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concert, I told myself there not going to make it. Little did I know Linkin Park blew up so fast and fell in love with their music that I couldn't get enough. Now days you can KZfaq everything and have access but in 2000 and forward the internet was barely walking, and cellphones weren't smartphones. We depended on MTV when MTV was all about music and what's new around artists and things. I remember when Meteora commercials started showing and I went crazy. I didn't have a job barely any money. I bought my copy of Meteora with dollar bills and loose change that I gather from my couch or on the street. I asked my mom to drive me to Best Buy to buy my CD and I feel in love after the first song. To this day I feel that was the best purchase I've ever made.

I am pretty sure this is what Easier to run started as, the Drums are identical, the vocals follow a similar pattern as the piano, the strings can be heard within Easier to run in the back ground. The guitar was completely changed but that's par for LP

This has got to be one of my favourite riffs from LP, ever since I heard it in the background of the Making of Meteora I've been looking for more complete version. Even worked out the chords to try and replicate it

I think I've got it guys. This song is just a super early demo of Easier to Run. The piano seems kinda just like a guide track for the vocals. The guitar was changed quite a bit but it seems like that happens a lot with LP songs. The drums are literally identical
