I watched this, and the pod that he did with James Nester talking about each other’s ideas and literature. INCREDIBLE! Read his book because of your recommendation as well. Thanks Paul!

So much free game and value in these It’s unfortunate they don’t get the same attention as a 20 second tiktok made by people that don’t know what theyre talking about claiming to get you a 53 inch vertical in 2 minutes. 😂

26:11 very similar to some of the best boxers or ufc fighters. Take Floyd Mayweather for example- go watch a Floyd fight one thing that immediately jumps out is how relaxed and loose he is. Very similar to what Paul said about Curry. Cool stuff 🦑

I've noticed Damian Lillard is mostly breathing through his nose (I watch for this lol). Myself, I'm pretty good at nose breathing, but I've found that concentrating on it in sports (basketball) inhibits my ability to play it. You'd be surprised how much you "articulate" your movements by opening/moving your mouth, and that's not even taking into account speaking.

Great podcast Paul! If I do plyos, Olympic lifts and heavy strength lifting in the same program, will that blunt vertical jump adaptations?

You’re definitely on the right track. Olympic lifts are probably some of the most underrated exercises for explosiveness which will directly correlate to jumping and sprinting and plyometrics are the icing on the cake
