Today I go over 'git add --patch' which is a nifty feature that lets you 'git add' only certain parts of a file instead of the entire file. This is an intermediate/advanced feature of git but is quite useful if you have two completely separate topics of development in the same workspace and need to selectively stage parts of files in the index.
