Have the exact same problem. Contacted Nissan head office and explained the situation and the fact that this is one DUMB spot to locate an amplifier due to corrosion. They didn't care.

Is the amp the same from a 05 maxima to my 05 Pathfinder? I put it in and works perfectly fine just worried if its safe.and I do have a after market Radio and speaker.

What about the one without the boss. I have a 2011 sv with the backup camera. The head unit works but I have no sound. At night, my backup camera gets fuzz and it's too hard to see. I have replaced the head unit and it didn't fix it.

I have the same problem. the very last thing I thought it could be is the amp. It didn't even occur to me that the amp would get water damage. Thanks.

+Haytham Sief you'll have to find it somewhere; you cand find it in the auto junk yard for a cheap one. I bought my from ebay and it was still a used one. If you can't find it anywhere and not even online than the last place to go to is dealer. It's going to be must more expansive once you go there.

Check the amplifier connection. Once disconnected, when connecting it is loose. Nissan Murano, Maxima, Altima, Pathfinder.

Believe my 2011 xterra PRO may be this same issue... have the same stereo as you but no sound and the amp sits under the driver seat. has a black plastic cover but could have seaped under it I guess.

Thanks for the video, finally I will go to the junkyard to look for an amplifier.. my daughter will be grateful.. and me too!!!, the worst will be to unmount as I also have under the seat the DVD player for the TV..:(

I have sound in my rear speakers but no sounds in the front tweeters or door speakers. All front speakers have been replaced with new ones. Any ideas????

My doors aren’t working either. But the speakers work. I tested them. Hopefully someone has an answer. Currently working on tracing wires. If I find my reason I’ll update

Pamela Gordon He replaced the fuse, it looked like a standard number 10. Cost about $5.00 at AutoZone, Advance Auto type stores. You will have to check your auto manual for the correct fuse number for your vehicle. Hope this help.
