Simply amazing! I find myself watching videos of her performing more and more. She's unbelieveably talented and has such passion for the violin AND the piano.

She is my inspiration. I love her. She's amazing, beautiful, I don't have words to explain how wonderful she is for me. I play the violin and I'm pretty sure that she's my idol. I hope I can meet her someday, because I bet it would be amazing. How she expresses her music is something inexplicable. For me, she's the best.

Just heard her playing this concerto live. It was very breathtaking and completely flawless. She plays with a very clean sound, lovely musicality and perfect technique. A very good interpretation of this piece.

The interested thing is that Julia does not just play well, way better than many. Also, her performance is very spectacular. I recommend that those who have not yet done so, see and listen to her performance, together with Daniel Muller-Schott of Johan Halversen's passacaglia.

I grew up in a house full of classical musicians, and my neice is a music performance major in college right now. She plays the violin, and has a lot of same mannerisms. It is not "nonsense", and frankly, I can't believe you would post something so negative to a comment that is praising her passion and love for the music.

I believe it's the North German (NDR) radio symphony orchestra - 3sat aired a concert by them with Michael Tilson Thomas conducting and Julia Fischer playing Brahms' Violin Concerto on 30 September 2007.

Her intensity IS stage presence to me lol. Those involuntary movements are what I like to see. That is the zone. I suppose it's hard to relate to though if someone hasn't played any instrument or done any task at a high skill level. But surely most people have.

This music is timeless and for all people, not just the ones i that can afford to sit in on hard to reach, overpriced performances,. City neighborhoods, barrios, ghettos and suburbs should all have orchestras....and jug bands, jugglers, and gypsy music and belly dancers
