It's a crisp morning in the bush. We're at the Bambelela Wildlife Care Center. As we usually do we head for the gate for a morning walk. We're quickly distracted by three young warthogs. At first they're skeptical... as are we. What unfolds is a delightful walk in the bush with three hand raised orphaned warthogs.
DON'T DO THIS! Warthogs are dangerous. These three were rescued as small orphans and raised by humans. They are so dog-like and can never be released in the wild. Actually they stayed quite close during the entire walk. We came to find out later that they'd never ventured much passed the center entrance before.
