I remember dressing up like a butterfly and doing this back in 2004. I sang the first verse and my mom sat in the first row balling her eyes out. God, I miss being eight.

My son performed this last night with his schoolmates. He's also 8. I didn't bawl my eyes out at the time but I can't get the song out of my head, and now that I can see the full lyrics it's pulling tears out of me.

I was 7-8 years old in 2016 or 2017 when I sang this song at the Bugz play at the auditorium for Cora Spencer Elementary with my grade. I miss those times very much now that I am 11 years old in 6th grade. Wish I can go back in time and revisit that play

I remember performing this in elementary school my whole class got to make butterfly wings in art class for us to wear, but I had missed school so my art teacher made my wings for me and they looked the best at the play lol! I graduated high school 8 years ago so it's been forever ago... glad I found this song :)

I remember when I did the bugs play in 2nd grade (2016-17). Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get any major roles I was just a singer. It was a great play. Now I’m 12 and going to 7th grade. I went to Cora spencer

Hey, I know this comment is 2 months now but if you can please try to get through to your friend. I've had an amazing friendship for the past few years because I always made an effort to keep it together. Unless he's abusive or toxic you should try to talk to him even if it's not your fault.
