@@NiceGarage I had to buy another harness to put this on my radio but other than that it was pretty easy, I found a video on how to wire one up which made it even easier.

Oh and I think I am going to try to mess with the camera a bit to try to angle it down some more so I can see my hitch, I will let you know how that works out

@@zackbell4045 yeah, I’m curious. I’d like to angle it down just a little now that I’ve used it a bunch hooking up the trailer.

So I was able to angle it down a bit but I found that the camera isn’t centered and it seems a little off. I filed the bottom and right side of the hole down on the Bezel a little bit and that really helped with the adjustment. I also flipped the little screw into the bottom hole on the camera itself to give a little more angle, now I can see my ball a lot better and hooking the trailer up is a lot easier. Sorry this took so long to get done, when I got my radio flashed it messed it up and I had to send it off to get fixed.

I installed an aftermarket Pioneer radio, it plugged right into that.

@@NiceGarage I found a new factory DVD deck,camera,bezel,wiring everything I need,I called GM and they claim it will require reprogramming, does this sound accurate?

Have you checked to see if the camera is getting power? I haven’t seen that error before

If it has power, because I removed the camera that comes with the radio and connected it to the tailgate and it tells me that there is no signal, perhaps it is a problem with the adjustment of the settings in the radio of the resolution of the camera or that it came broken, I already know I wrote to Amazon and they will send me another one to check.

The steering wheel controls do work but from the iDatalink interface.

Read the manual for Green - Parking Lines - Default shows - Connect if you do NOT want lines to show

The camera unplugs, I just happened to wrap it in tape but I can take the tailgate off if needed

The tailgate has drain slots in the bottom of it. No drilling necessary.
