The property is changing in ways Lynne and I never expected. Whole areas of the 140 we could never walk through before have now opened up to reveal long, gentle slopes (perfect sledding hills in winter), wide and flat camping areas, hiking and potential training areas. And I think we have also identified an area that is going to sport a number of hobbit homes. And while I am a tremendous fan of the spring explosion of color that comes in May, I have to say I am loving the fall colors that are here now.

Im glad you're not levelling large sections entirely. Some trees are necessary to keep erosion down.

Correct, we are not doing that. We are thinning the forest of those trees 12" in diameter or less to promote healthy growth. Even the clearing where the village is going will have big healthy giants among the village itself. I very much want a Sherwood Forest kind of feel to it.

@@mohamedyusuf4777 Well, no time like the present. Plenty of things are happening even now. For example, the Tiger Castle Training Weekend on June 1-2. We have almost 60 fencers coming out from all over the continent.
