Even though it was a cloudy overcast day, Charlotte and I headed to Point Dume State Beach in Malibu. Besides the beach, there is a hiking trail (Point Dume Cove Trail) overlooking the ocean with amazing vantage views around the coastal area. It was a good 2-mile walk to the hiking trail from my free parking spot near the beach, but it was worth the stunning scenery. This is very much the definition of a “scenic hike,” and the sound of crashing waves was so relaxing. Enjoy!
