Wanted to send you a big thank you! I had one radio replaced under warranty after it started flickering, but the second one started to do the same thing. I just followed your instructions and tested it and it seemed to do the trick. Couldn't be happier.

I had same issue, this did not fix it......Took a lot of trouble shooting to figure out I had no constant power to the blue/red wire on the large harness. If the above does not work check that wire and supply it 12V positive. This fixed my issue. I bought the car this way and believe that the last owner tried to un wire the door dinger which must be on the same circuit cause now my dinger works, as well as the clock

Subaru radio hvac lights flickering.

This flickering happened to me once along with speakers intermittently cutting out and I had the entire panel replaced. Then, it started happening again, the speakers just stopped working and would only occasionally kick in. Thankfully, there was no flickering this time only the speakers going out. I tried walking thru your steps two or three times, bending up the metal prongs to make contact for the ground, but no dice. I may have to eventually pony up the cash to purchase yet another new panel. This should actually be a recall, I imagine . . .

Tried this. Didn’t work. Now what?

BTW Mine is not flickering. The whole panel is powerless!
