Did the lights work on this switch?

I have the issue on BMW X3 2007. When I got it used mirrors didn't move, but the rest worked. I thought it was fuse 57 - it was missing (I don't have folding mirrors so I don't know if that's the case). So I tried to put a fuse in 57 and I got a bunch of sparkles. Since then the whole switch on the drivers side doesn't work, fuses are ok, 57 remaining empty as it was. Do you have any ideas what it might be?

@@FinalStopMobileAutoTech thank you, but I actually figured it out a week ago. I disconnected the drivers side window control module and put the fuse in to #57. It works now. It’s still weird that it was working before without it, but now everything works, but those side mirrors 😂. I’m probably not going to mess with those now. Merry Christmas to you

OMG! I have been struggling with no mirror or window movement via the drivers side master switch on my 2007 X3 for over a month now. I happened upon your reply and went to check on fuse 57. Guess what ? No fuse present. So i disconnected the master controller, put a fuse in 57 and Voila! Everything works now! Thanks for posting your weird experience!!

@@msfohn did you have the problem overnight? I have the same problem currently impossible to open or close the windows and fold or unfold the mirrors from the driver's control.

Got the same issue with my f21 window switch has been replaced but still not working what is the cable/plug called that connects with the switch ????

The switch connects to the door harness.

I have the same issue it started 2 weeks after I brought the car 325i e92 then 10min later worked agian fine ever since this was in June now agiam today 4th October 2020 it stopped earlier n hasn't worked since I've had door card off inspected wires had a small bit of water but not on the connectors wires were a tad wet nothing major I have led lite up on the switch pack just buttons don't respond windows and mirrors :/ driving me crazy having 5% tint on the fronts I need to do the window down at times for when u pass that a**ehole copper. Do you think mine could be the switch pack even tho its getting power because the led are lite when the lights r turned on

@@qenzxy it sounds crazy but locate where the motor would b behind your door card roughly mine was just above the speaker n give it a good hit with ur hand ✋started working again ,failing that r the buttons lighting up? I've had 2 issues that don't allow the window to go down and both r sorted now havent has a problem for a year FUSE is allways first call tho

@@ryano4785 at home I cannot operate the windows with my driver's switch nor the mirrors I have two error codes: 93CB no LIN communication to the switch block 93C9 no LIN communication to the driver's side mirror what did you do to make it work again?
