I don’t know why people glorify Brenden and Ste’s “relationship” it is toxic it doesn’t matter if they are gay Ste was clearly getting abused by a sociopath. Yeah it’s fun to watch but in real life this is terrible

Ste had Stockholm's, _bad_ . It seems like the writers forgot what that was and tried to make it seem as though Ste "loving Brendan through his own abuse" was the sweetest thing on earth. The ending to Brendan and Ste's arc had me crying my eyes out because I truly do feel for Brendan and what he went through and what he dealt with, and I feel for Ste who was attached to him so much. But also fuck Brendan for being a murdering lying abusive piece of shit, and fuck Ste for the same minus the murder. I'd feel that Cheryl was the true victim but she straight up saw Brendan doing... well you saw Hollyoaks Later, and she protected her own family by not reporting him, and then protected him in another brutal way, but she's no innocent.

Ste is also physically abusive, he is just outmatched by Brendan many times. Lets be real, 90% of the relationships on this show are toxic on purpose.

i wouldn't really count the violence between brendan, doug, joel and kevin, or walker and kevin to be domestic. they're not in relationships or anything so it's just regular violence

The actors name is Elliot Balchin and in the show he plays Kevin Foster. As far as I know, Walker only beat Kevin up.

No, not a love triangle. Walker wants to kill Brendan for having killed his brother. He sends this guy to assist him and this guy gets beaten up by both of them... The first guys is a kind of a love triangle, maybe those are the love triangle you asked about. Closeted Brendan keeps beating his secret boyfriend Ste up to make sure Ste keeps their relationship a secret. Then Ste decides to break up then he is boyfriend with Doug. Ste is traumatized after having grown up with a very abusive step dad and a bad mother too, then his trauma worsened after bewn abused for years by Brendan. So Ste has become violent too and sometimes beats up his boyfriend Doug. Brendan tries to get Ste back and also beats up Doug occationally.

That's PJ Brennan, he was born and raised in New York. So, no: he wasn't 'trying to do an American accent', that's his real accent! But I think he travelled a lot, and - as well as being surrounded by a bunch of different accents from the other actors on the show - it's not surprising that it sounds a bit mangled!
