@@eliaskjrbo8142 I would consider a gambit a type of sacrifice. It's not a traditional one, but you still give up a full piece for an advantage - which is what a sacrifice is. But, if you want to consider them different, then 22 points of material was sacrificed.

@gotham I went over the game myself with an engine, because I was very curious about several parts of the game. The Queen H3 move is a winning idea just 1 or 2 moves back but one move late, you get the result you do.

The meta for 1200-1400 should be the attempt to go into a Nimzo. The shamish Kings indian and the averbach just makes your opponents head explode. Shamish can turn into an Anti Grunfeld too. It's just free elo at this point.

Thanks Gothamchess. This has surely made my day. This game reminds me of the immortal game of 1851. Adolf Anderssen's sacrifice of a queen and two rooks and checkmating his opponent who had 27 point advantage is a tale of legend in chess. I wish i could play like this in my games, man. That was incredible nice calculations in the endgame sacking the Rook than the Queen than the other Rook knowing he can than use his Bishop to move away from the Queening square where his pawn will promote very Slick

It’s amazing how much of chess is taking advantage of your opponents mistake. For multiple moves knight going for the check wins the game. But it is not played and black becomes brilliant
