Thanks for your review. I have been looking at midsize SUV’s and most are too small for easy entry and exit. This vehicle not only has a bunch of safety features, a powerful engine is roomy, etc!

Congrats. Awesome Vehicle. I just purchased a preowned 21 EX-L with 19k miles for $28K in 9.5 outof 10 condition. It looks like they are depreciating at around 30 to 35% after three years. Mine still has 8 months of the original warranty. So perhaps in 2.5 years. But the depreciation should start to slow down after year 3. Part of the reason is the "old vibe" school this thing has. Everyone is coming out with digital this and digital that, but this thing is stuck with a 2015 look. I do not mind it, because it has that "utilitarian" feel to it and it has all the tech I need. Having said that , the comfortable seats are worth the price of admission
@travisp11

Yeah, the depreciation has me a bit scared but with the newer V6 and body style on the way I’m hoping my gen gets a bit of a following (although it has a big audience on it right now).

@@travisp11 Look at it this way, if you buy any car, especially new, you are going to get hit hard. I just bought it so I know the depreciation is real and with the new one coming out, it might not help either. But if you love it and you are planning to keep it, these Hondas will last for years and years. I am not one to buy new cars. I like buying a 2 to 3 year old car. By the time, I sell it 3 years down the road, it will not be as bad. It is easy to go from $50K to $30K. It is not as easy to go from $30K to $10K.

@@larryjohns8823 I’ve heard some people use a scan tool to determine if it’s activated. The main disadvantage I can think of is you will not get the fuel savings it’s intended for. I opt to go for engine longevity over fuel efficiency.

Hi Travis, i have the same passport, somehow there is condensation happening in the driver side tail light .. do you know if that should be covered by warranty? I agree with you fully on the fit n finish of the vehicle but its a joy to drive the car.

I noticed a little bit in my passenger rear after my last car wash but it dried out after a day. There may be a vent hole in the light somewhere that let some humidity in and it condensed in the housing. Unless mine gets worse I’m fine with it and yeah, I agree with you on the fun driving factor!

Noticed fit/finish issues on my 2024 EX-L too. It's bothersome, especially when compared to my prior 2019 Mazda3 (which had zero fit/finish issues). That said, the PP is fun to drive. Best upgrade I have so far are those WeatherTech mats.

I know I know. I plan to drive this one into the ground so resale does not matter to me but what I am seeing is a drop from the original MSRP to 2021s running in the mid to upper $20K range, a loss of nearly 50%. I have bought several new vehicles and almost all of them have lost 30% or more in original value after 5 years. Sucks for us Passport owners but it is what it is.
