The thing I don't see in your model from the video is that if you give access to all the courses you have, someone could go in and be a member for a month or two, copy everything or at least go through the courses and then bail out of the membership. My question is how to have a membership where there is specific new material each month, or a Zoom call or something that makes them want to stay. How would you make that work in Sam Cart? Could you sell the membership and then just send out links every month for the live training, or whatever? I'd love some models for creating new material each month that members would want to keep coming back for. Then I can see putting the membership offer on all the courses I have. Why would anyone buy each course separately if they can get them all for $9.00/month?

Question: if they have 2 courses in the cart, but then add the Guitar U type “everything” for a monthly subscription, Wouldn’t they get the same if they just buy one course and get the Guitar U type membership?

Fair point about the product overlap, MMM. A bundled subscription would be better off as a standalone product. Another strategy would be to set a time limit on your courses (say like a 30-day closing window) and use the "Guitar U" add-on as a way to access the course on a monthly basis.

Question. What happen when client stop paying the subscription? Do they keep access to the courses? How do Samcart deal with revoking access to the courses for those who decide to stop the membership?

in your example they could sign up to the university and not buy the separate courses though right? (i think as mentioned below in another comment). Would you therefore only provide access in real life to the "stuff" you want to include, and not your other core products surely? Do you have a URL of example things for online course library content, eg pdfs, whatsapp group, exclusive videos, etc? that would be helpful to get inspired! many thanks, just finishing migrating my course to samcart now, so about to test it out!

Good catch, David. You can do soooo many different offerings. Offer a single product or bundle it into a subscription like we mentioned in the video. The nice part too, if someone upgrades to the "all included" package, then you can refund the difference for the lower tiered product. That way, your customers don't get mad about paying twice.

@@samcartapp still not clear - why would you offer full ungated access to your other courses? I can understand if you charge a high price for unlimited access, or low charge for access to lower value content, I think a v2 demo would be great to show these options if that's the best way to use this...
