I recently played dozens of YOUR Mario Maker 2 levels and here are some of the ones I played. Despite some hot trash, a lot of your levels are pretty good!

Upon seeing the video title, I was thinking, "troll levels are always fun and creative, it will be cool to see what one of the troll creators did to 1-1." That first level was not a good troll level. Good troll levels use clever setups to change the expected outcome of a known mechanic. That first level was just 1-1 with enemy spam and hidden blocks... a LOT of hidden blocks.

Considering the amount of predictions that get canned and the fact you completed that final level powerless I'd call that a win. Also I would argue under 'Mastermind rules' (UK gameshow) if you start before 0 then you're free to complete the level in that attempt.

The dev exit in the second level was simple. Get the mega mushroom, take damage so you're still big, and then climb the dev blocks. Once you go through the door, you're big so you'll take damage and not die

@@mike1024. The "dev exit" at the start of the level is not actually a dev exit, it just takes you to right above the 50-coin near the start. However, there is a second set of kaizo blocks leading to a true dev exit above the two ? blocks put together.

@@Zellogi19 What confused me most is later a notification popped up from the creator saying you weren't intended to jump back over the red launcher as Dave did. He took the blame and said he should have done a better job cheese-proofing it. ...But dude... You left a dev exit in your level.

@@ecliptorcalrissian5014 The two high walls were not meant to be jumped over; back when I made this I didn't realize it was possible to do so with cheesy tricks. The intended way is to go through the subworld, retrieve the key, then go _back_ through the subworld and use the key.

Honestly one of the main reasons i dont go to daves livestreams is because the predictions get canceled so much. It's rather messed up and one sided. Not sure whos is charge of the predictions but they should really stop canceling them.

I don't think that first level deserves to be called a "troll level" just because of the style, quality, and gameplay loop that term has become associated with. The level was certainly trolling you, but mostly just trying to be as frustrating as possible rather than genuine mind games and haha funnies.
