My Endgame Meteor / Fireball CoC Sorcerer Build Guide - it is fast, nice and flashy with huge AOE and works great in Last Epoch 1.0.3

So this Cast on Critical (CoC) Sorcerer can provide a pretty fun gameplay with HUGE Screen wide AOES and tens of Meteors falling over while containing mana and finishing enemies off with Fireball. With all of those interactions it's been a really fun to play with all of the beautiful explosions! Hope you can like it too.

Mana strike+lightning blast+static+surge doing Spark Nova. Its pretty cool! I found the frost claw/L Blast dagger so now i wanna dump my fame ward for frost claw. Lol. But i am on Hardcore I probably wont.

i did a similar build but with vilatria's set. making meteor lighting and using Liath's Machinations plus Plasma ball skill to make fireball 100% lightning and it works really well. i had to take focus because cant make fireball free without Cinder song. but it still works really well and meteor hits incredibly hard with the stardust passive skill node. Sometimes the waves from energy overflow of focus procs the meteor too. Its nice how the meteor can proc off crits from lightning blast triggered by static as well

Hey this is a really fun build - thanks for sharing! One piece of feedback I have is to try and go through bare minimums to enter the build and offer potential alternatives if you don't have those bare minimums. One example is that I switched to this build and didn't have the spell leech blessing with my heart of uhkeiros. I had to switch my chest to prism wraps and give up +3 meteor until I get the blessing. I don't feel it's worth giving up the mega tankyness buff of uhkeiros for +3 meteor. Only reason I say this is because I bet a lot of people want to try this, but don't have perfect gear yet.

This build doesn't give much way for non BIS gears. If you have BIS this can work but if you don't its really bad.

Oh man, how hard is it to gear up for any end game Meteor builds? Honestly don't have the patience to farm extensively & grind which, to a certain point, doesn't feel worth it going thru all that. I went Runemaster but Meteor has always been a classic coming from D3 and really want to try it seeing that it's an easier playstyle too.

I have a very similar build, except I use the 5 fireball spread. I absolutely melt everything but I'm so squishy. What's the best defensive suffix for you, just straight health?

Generally Ward retention / Health should help with it since it will provide more ward overall.

I play a similar build but like focus for the mana regen. You can also replace meteor on your quickcast as you don't ever really need to cast it directly.

Omg I need a non-clunky easy build like that after reading complex runemaster builds lol. I went Runemaster at 1st which was fun for what it is, but Meteor is always a classic build you wanna experience coming from D3.

Even with Cinder Song, I don't have 0 mana on Fireball cast. How's that ? I followed exactly the build for skill points, and I have wand + belt as described, but I still have 1 mana cost for my Fireball. Should I add another point in mana sphere or did I forget something to add on the gearing ?

Check the skill mastery and add a point if required. Harder to say whats wrong without seeing the whole build there. Cheers!

Would try to engage only when Glame Ward is UP and probably would try to get more mana so it will be easier to use it. Disengage if you are out of mana as well cause it can be dangerous. Hope you will enjoy it too!

You can get one from Merchant Guild pretty easily - otherwise farm could take A LOT.

even exalted equips with that unique meteor belt is manageable just stack mana and mana regen, mine im using frost claw (converted to fire) to proc meteor

Yeah in general you can do that but it will require more managment. Belt / Wand are the most important ones there so try to get them faster. Cheers!

You are right, it can work just fine like that as well. The main idea why I have used fireball instead is the point that it hits more times ( barrage of projectiles) so easier to proc, it can SHRED fire resistance just form the passives AND it can regenerate 20 mana when cast which helps with sustain + 4 Mana every cast with fireborn. Try out Fireball, you should like it!

Hey there! I think Pally / FG Shield Bash is MUCH more tanky but can provide less damage against Mana Stacking meteor. Overall I would use my Meteor version there as a starter and progress further to the Mana stack if you want that approach.

Very cool. My friend is running Ballista Falconer so I am leaning pally so I can tank and buff him vs meteor. I love meteor though been wanting to play that build for a while just never got to it. Wonder if it could go push 1,000+

How hard is it to gear up for end game like for these builds vs like in D3 & D4? Sounds like it's harder and kinda intimidating.

If you are using Market and not CoF it should be pretty easy, especially compared to D4 when trading is more annoying.

You need to use different wand + take passives in the fireball tree.

I know what went wrong, the cinder song wand gave an extra -3 mana cost to spell skills. I was using a rare wand previously cause i couldn't buy the cinder song. x.x still cant buy one with legendary potential, not even rank in the bazaar =[ @@ronarray

It is harder to start with it since you need belt /100% crit for it to work. BUT you can just play basic Fireball / Glacier one and then swap on higher levels. I did a sorcerer leveling build there kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jM5oiLNiu8DQlH0.html so maybe it can help. Cheers!

Yeah, it is provided by the belt with 6-9% of chance every time when you crit. I explain this in the video.

Mana is kind of a problem. When you're negative mana you can't cast flame ward or teleport, and then times when you are likely to cast them, you are also likely to be oom from trying to keep from getting swarmed.

You are right about it, that's why I usually keep the distance to use DMG and range as a protecting measure.

I got simular build but may change it bit now seen this, though instead of snap I got the mana regain ability which hold few secs = get ward/mana/mana regen so mana recovers super fast after meteor. though my idols i got increase fire damage ones

I have every item you have here with just slightly worse lines/LPs, and im getting 1 shot consistently at 300 corruption Emonos and not sure what im doing differently from you

legit about to just give up on sorc, ive pushed to 400c with a spark charge fragment of the enigma/dragoraths claw build but its really struggling to go higher without min maxing some dmg to mana build with strong mind thats probably barely able to push 900 with super careful gameplay. Im thinking about just staying with that at 300c then farming for a warlock build

Well, survivability of the build is definitely not that high. You will need more ward retention to feel better and have more ward at times. Using Flame Ward before the fight can help a lot as well as prioritizing it over Fireball / Meteor combo when needed. Cheers!

I go over it in the video - but Fireball costs more then 0 usually. However I use special wand for -6 to its cost + its passive tree as well. Cheers!

unless you got the gears and already playing sorc DO NOT by all means DO NOT play this build. This is a horrible glass cannot build if you do not have the BIS gears.

Well, it is more about timing abilities here then a Gear, since you have Flame Ward (IF you have mana) it can help with survivability just fine. Cheers!
