Great advice. For those who started brushless, stay off 6S with the stock 2200kv Mamba Monster system. It's too much power, really just to show off occasionally. Instead optimize it for 4S with your gearing, say 18/58 or 20/62 or so. I run a 4065 2700kv on 4S with 18/62 gearing, it still wheelies at 3/4 throttle and will hit 40 mph with low gearing & over 50 with higher gearing. Still stays super cool. Proline Badlands 3.8 is the best tires for the E-Revo.

is this motor and esc better then TRAXXAS MXL ESC AND MOTOR
@elpelon967 жыл бұрын
PHANTOM LIFE no the traxxas system is made by castle creations and is one of the top of the line power systems I only went with the hobbywing because I upgraded from a brushed setup and this is more affordable with similar power output but I believe the traxxas system is still better

OK thanks

PHANTOM LIFE your welcome bro

I've never had an issue with my HobbyWing stuff. Castle pretty much makes all of Traxxas 4S-6S systems except the X-Maxx ESC. Good systems overall as well, though your HobbyWing system is nothing to sneeze at either.

gpage believe me I love hobbywing even though I roasted the ESC and motor about 2 months after this video running on the beach with pro line slingshots on 6s

yeah! lots of trouble with integy!!!!!!!!!!
@gpaje7 жыл бұрын
Integy is really for shelf jewelry, not designed actual bash usage. I recommend Hot Racing components if you want aluminum or RPM if you are fine with plastic upgrade parts. Either parts are good quality on the E-Revo.

E-Revo is not a 1/10 scale it's an 1/8 scale -_-

I just purchased a e Revo Brushless and it is huge. I wasn't expecting the truck to be so large.
@gpaje7 жыл бұрын
It's a 1/10 monster truck, which is why it's bigger than say a Slash. But a E-Revo, as big as it is, only weighs 3 pounds more than a 4x4 Slash (6 lbs vs 9 lbs). I think part of the 1/10 classification is also on the size of the differentials which is definitely 1/10 in size.
@ethanwaite41226 жыл бұрын
Robert Leland actually he's kind of right. If you put the e revo next to a true 1/8 scale monster truck you will see that it is slightly smaller. It is bigger and heavier than most 1/10 trucks but is still smaller than a 1/8 equivalent of it. The diffs are most definitely 1/10 sized, people seem to blow them a lot. Don't get me wrong, I really like the e revo. I have one and don't plan on selling it anytime soon. I have also had a slash 4x4 and the e revo is definetly bigger but when comparing it to say an arrma kraton for example it is smaller.
