The reason why you broke the V-Fin is because you attached the head wrong, you are actually supposed to attach the head without the back piece by sliding it into the neck and then adding the back piece

you are correct, other reviewer build the head with sliding ball joint at back, then locked by back head piece

so the force was because attachment wasn't popping but sandwich the ball into the cavity... wonder if he was paying attention to the instructions or did what most other kits ask. wonder if that kind of connection is superior to the standard pop

Yeah he was putting it together like that for filming. He did it wrong on purpose to give us the snap crackle and pop but the v got popped right off 😂 my son is 5 and i always pucker when he handles the head. He hasn’t broken a v yet but he is still early in his gunpla journey

The junkie trio is my personal favorite. They argue like gamers. And they also gave Kira and Athrun a difficult time despite having inferior mobile suits. Their Seed Destiny counterparts are significantly inferior Raider in particular, was the first one to behead Freedom

Yea clotho really stood out from the rest, trashed talked the most, survived the longest, had the best dialogue ... really they are all awesome

They have limited run time that's why I said they're inferior. Pilots do also have limited time fighting before their modifications kick in. Their mobile suits are not as agile as freedom and justice either but they're huge threats especially when they cooperate well (as seen on later episodes)

Freedom and Justice could have just easily executed Forbidden and Raider during the battle of Orb. but for some reason they just knocked them out. and as for the Calamity I still have no idea how that thing manage to survive Justice and Freedom on earth as that Gundam was bulky as hell but for some reason it manage to dodge and keep up with justice and freedom speed. That thing even need raider as a mobile platform so that it can easily move around.

I'm currently building Calamity. Really enjoying the kit. I bought water-slides from Delpi Decal. Excellent quality. Crazy fast shipping from Busan to Vancouver Canada. three to five days. I use them for every build now. I topcoat my kits so the stickers are useless to me. Delpi is an excellent alternative.

1/100 Gundam Seed kits always tank everything. The Master Grades are superb with very minimal problems. They always have a great price, you always expect them to be super expensive, especially the Freedom 2.0, with that massive wing pack, but it’s just standard MG price. I want more of them, and I definitely will get more

@@deditsuwabuki1359 Exactly, minimal problems. I’ve actually come across where B 5 connects to J 17, the piece just snapped right off, but I got metal parts for J 4 and replacement parts for B 5 and J 17

I never liked the Gundams used by the "junkies" (lack of a better term) in the anime. But man, so far it's 2/2 for the FM Seed line. These designs translated into the 1/100 model kit form are really something else. I hope to get these soon.

They did release 1/100 for most of the see kids back in the Day. These designs were made for RE100 IMO due to the history of the Seed gunplay and how the MS were designed

We all know the Forbidden is going to be next, but I hope after that we get the ones from Destiny. Sadly I suspect the Savior will end up in this line and not get a proper MG

Better than nothing. It is not the worst tbh and 1/100FM seed kits are nothing comparable to old FM kits. They are improving.

Hey, if the Savior ends up as a full mechanics kit, but as good as these, then by all means! At this point I'll gladly take what I can get! Ofcourse, as long as it doesn't end up trash (just like what it ended up in the anime, lol)

There was a ng 1/100 savior previously released, as well as a 1/100 legend Gundam. But even those 2 get a FM release I can live with that if it's the same caliber kit as the raider and calamity.

I am not even sure if Savior going to get one at this point. Besides, even if it does get FM treatment, this is still better than early MG S.Destiny kit

I see the idea that your comment suggests. However, that is in terms of their aesthetics (and transformation, regarding Wing and Raider). But Forbidden has more ranged weapons than the Deathscythe (& […] Hell), while Raider has more weapons than the Wing Gundam.

I think Bandai is experimenting using 1/100... using lesser parts archiving the same effect with many part..less runner save cost but same quality.. anyhow, I imagine Forbidden is coming soon..the trio is not complete without it...

The raider in general was just a wack design. It would seem the 1/100 kits (some mgs included) take a few creative liberties design-wise

Raider was always my favorite of the three "Druggies" Gundams and this kit looks amazing. Now I'm can't help but think about the possibility of the Gundam Buer, Andras, and Sabnack fighting together in the Calamity War as a inside joke. Admittedly I'm sure no one in Bandai thought about that idea.

The strongest Suit from the Evil Operation V of OMNI Earthling Enforcers/Blue cosmos to Destroy the ZAFT aliens. Because it has lasted longer than Calamity and Forbidden, despite Raider mainly fights in close combat while Calamity fights in long range, Forbidden in mid range.

Clotho the Raider Gundam pilot almost murdered Kira on multiple occasions. Plot armor was In Kira’s hands ofc but you have to give him props for giving him hell

I'm wondering if the black plastic is "light" enough for normal black panel lining or if it's another candidate for chrome liner. Stuff like that is tough to tell from videos and photos.

It's not. Don't know if anyone answered this for you elsewhere but the plastic on this kit is pretty glossy and won't look good with panel lining in black.

I couldn't care less about Raider, but Calamity and Forbidden are some of my all-time favorite Gundam designs. Fingers crossed Full Mechanics Forbidden is coming next.

I didn’t even like the calamity Gundam design but the kit was excellent imo. I don’t like the raider Gundam either, but you bet your ass I’m getting one.

All gundam eyes do need light-piping without an eye-sticker. 😁 Also, defnintely need waterslides and a topcoating for clean decal application.

Colors def give me Blitz vibes. Don't know much about the Raider, I remember thinking it looked cool animated but that doesn't always translate well into model form. I'll prob never get it but its cool.

Probably the coolest Gundams used by the Alliance in Seed were the Calamity, Forbidden, and Raider. Even if they were piloted by deranged psychopaths.

Anyone have any advice on how to get this thing to stand? I just finished building it and I can not get this to stand. Seems like it's too top heavy and the knees can't support the weight lol. Great kit though
