You should see the photo-etch chain upgrade for the Tamiya Honda RC166. It's like this except it's actually *functional,* and not just static and purely decorative(!)

I've not used the Tamiya one, though I have made a few Top Studio chains which are again, functional! Great fun!

@@ScaleMotor Oh, I had never heard of the brand, but their drive chains appear just as awesome. Your Rossi YZR-M1 that uses one is pretty awesome too. 👍👋

Hi Luke. Which glue are you using. It looks like normal hobby glue, but it seems to glue like CA glue.

I've been struggling on making this chain for the Tamiya Ducati. My current technique is using a magnetized screwdriver to place the pins in and using a old Tamiya glue brush, brush some extra thin CA glue at the base of the pin. I tried your technique of holding the pins with tweezers, but they always pinged off. How did you prevent that?

Thanks for watching, Rick! In all honesty, a fair few of them did ping off, never to be seen again! I now use a better pair of tweezers, the Tamiya HG Pointed tweezers are great for this kind of work, though I would suggest a delicate grip on them, as if you squeeze too much, that just accelerates the pinging process!
