This is truly a first. Most of you know that as much as I love miniatures, I've never put dolls in my miniature scenes. However, I may have converted now that I've seen how easy it is to customize 1:12 scale dolls.

I'm cursed with the same endless list of hobbies. It's not just a dollhouse to build, paint and decorate. It's about the decor, the specifics and even the terrain is important, but the homeowner is a significant piece. I have two dolls from the show Spirit Riding Free, Lucky and Bebe. I've been only working on ideas fir clothes and such right now but now I really want this kind of doll! I'll work my way up to it. My dolls need an actual home first. Check out the Victoria's farmhouse kitbash this girl did! I love her!

@@clairechampagne7349 I'm personally more into dioramas as predominantly a nendoroid collector - I like to replace or change up my displays in my dedicated Kallax unit as I get more characters, and by extension, more clothing and accessory options when it comes to nendoroids in particular. I find a dollhouse to be less flexible and more space hungry unfortunately for my needs, though I love watching other people build theirs and find inspiration from them! I do agree that aaall the little details are important. I can't tell you how many free samples of fake grass, tiles, woodboards, textiles I have been collecting while looking for the perfect ones for specific setups 😅 Oh, and paint sample pots too, of course!

That's cool! I was thinking for a long time about dolls for dollhouses. Can you suggest how I would get dolls (bulk if they exist)? Because I want to make dollhouses and sell them, but not like barbie scale. I would prefer smaller. Or something for scenes for Christmas village. Thank you for whatever knowledge you can share.

oh how exciting, i'm a big fan of doll customizing so seeing you give it a go makes me so happy! I really like creators like Moonlight Jewel and Dollightful - they mostly customize monster high dolls, but their techniques can be applied to any dolls. Moonlight Jewel has also recently been 3D printing custom BJDs, which might be interesting for you to check out since i know you have a 3D printer! if you'd like to get more into the hobby, i really recommend Dollightful's video on what supplies u need to start customizing, it's super helpful and in depth!

Ooo! Shes turned out lovely! I have a similar tiny bjd that I purchased from an etsy seller a while back. Something I noticed on my doll was that it tended to be a bit "snappy" when posing and often kicked while trying to get it in position. I wanted to pass on the way to fix this problem should it arise in your tiny! The fix is tiny green floral wire. You shove it into the string channels to provide more stability and improve posing

This was Amazing!👏🏽👏🏽🥰 I love your work and have been a sub for a long time now. But I literally just inquired about these dolls and found this link to this video on Mysfits site. This was so helpful. I learned so much about the hair and clothes, even the makeup. The eyes were my fav. 😍 I just sculpted my first doll with polymer and her eyes are closed. I was so intimidated but also love the way they looked closed, that I thought from now on I will make all my dolls with closed eyes. Now, I feel confident enough to make eyes. Loved this technique..Tysm for sharing.❤️🥰

For not sewing, you came up with a beautiful dress. I use to make porcelain dolls. I like to sew and as long as I have a pattern, there is no problem. I'm going to have to restring one of the dolls. The elastic stretches over time. I hate to admit it but both Santa & Mrs Santa are still waiting for clothes. After the instructor moved away, I lost interest. I need to find someone else that teaches doll making. I recently retired so now I have the time.
