There's a noticeable difference in how little you're getting for this amount compared to past videos. Inflation is insane and something needs to be done. I know I personally can't afford trips to the store these days.

I do think prices are up on meats. The weather affects those prices. I’m seeing other prices going down or being stable. We were warned of this when wages for those workers went up. The raises had to show up somewhere. Costco pays their employees well, and treats them well, so you’re supporting a better company.

This is such an outlet for me. Ever since, my husband and I decided to go healthy cutting out processed food, starch, carb, sugar. We literally save more than half of our food bill. At the same time, Im no longer has the satisfaction of buying stuff anymore 😢. Watching contents like this, is like a therapy to me. We just do this temporarily to see how far we can push our minds and bodies.

The thinly sliced beef can be used as cheesesteak sandwich. I cut them into smaller pieces, sauté with salt and pepper, put cheese on top to melt and I use French roll bread. I sauté onion and mushrooms on the side for toppings. Shabu Shabu is an Asian dish. You can also use the thin sliced beef on the ready made Pho noodles from Costco.

Thanks for the tip re air fryer and croissants! You shouldn't have to but a couple ideas to consider that you could slowly start to implement to save money if you wanted to could be buying popcorn kernels in bulk and flavoring instead of chips, buying bulk pancake mix ingredients to make yourself from scratch, and some of the fruit/veg you have there can be easily grown. Small steps as a start then just keep doing a bit more over time when you can/are ready. Blessings!

If I remember correctly she does garden during the season, but she lives in Michigan and we have a pretty short growing season so I’m sure that’s why she’s not growing anything right now. But GREAT tips. I think I may need to try to make my own bill pancake mix

I really want to make my own pancake mix! I like making sourdough pancakes a lot too. But we have the mix for when my husband or kids make them. It lasts a long time! We love popcorn so that’s a wonderful idea .We currently have 22 fruit trees and 15 berry bushes, plus a strawberry patch although the chipmunks seem to get to them before I can. We haven’t installed a vegetable garden at this new house yet and yes! Michigan growing season is so short. Have to can and preserve in order to eat home grown through the yeR

1) BUY AVOCADO CUPS!! So much easier and most brands are literally just avocado and lemon/lime juice. Game changer because they are ripe when you buy them and you can FREEZE them!! Oh and they don’t cost more than actual avocados. 🤯 2) Prior to the pandemic, my Sam’s Club trips always averaged $10 an item. Now it’s an average of $13. But I live super close to a smaller metropolitan area (Pittsburgh) so maybe my prices have always been higher than yours. Cause your last two hauls have averaged $10 an item, which would be about right. But maybe for your area, $8 an item was average before the pandemic. 🤷🏼‍♀️ 3) Do you have success freezing those raspberries or blackberries?

I zoomed in and looked and I think Black hair suits you best. However, you should (this is just a suggestion/opinion/advice that you didn't ask for) wear some more coloured clothing. You can wear the same sweater in electric blue or Fuchsia pink, that way, you'll have a pop of colour while remaining "modest" and covered. You can then style a long jumper (sweater) with leggings and boots and a cardigan, completely not showing anything but completely stylish! You might think "Oh I don't need that, I have God and my billion kids!" ... Yes, yes you do. And just like having a billion healthy kids is a blessing, being and feeling pretty is also one of God's many simple nearly free (girl math) blessings! And since you didn't ask, and I'm Black African... Next, I'll tell you how to style your hair! 🤣 (It's funny because we don't have the same hair!) I love your grocery hauls too!
