-Always scratch build your Gundam. NO straight builds. -Pick a Gundam that was really powerful (example: Unicorn Gundam, OO Raiser) as your base model. -Closing your eyes and pretending that you're actually piloting your Gundam model is highly effective and you will win the battle. -Having some sort of martial arts knowledge will increase damage dealt by 200% -Clear parts help you win, so why not build an entirely CLEAR GUNDAM? -If you don't know any martial arts, then stuff your Gundam full with 10 kinds of different weapons. -Somehow find a way to max the output of all your gunpla's weapons and propulsion (if there is a way) -Use the restroom before the battle, NOT during the battle

This kit is my favourite for its customizability, presentation, articulation and effect parts. The two minor problem is to not lose the parts and keeping them together.

Heck now that they came out with the MGEX Unicorn Gundam with the LED Unit they definitely could make an MGEX Try Burning Gundam with the LED Unit as well.

Burning V1 gave us two identical runners for either normal mode or burning assimilation mode. Both the part sets there were smooth. Burning V2 gives us a smooth set of parts for normal mode, and then irks me personally with BA mode moulded fire effects. If I had the patience, I would paint or mould up a set of effect parts in the orange transparent plastic that were not flame effect.

Just to confirm, both the clear blue & the clear orange parts react to UV light, unlike the original Burning where only the clear orange parts worked. Using UV, this kit _really_ looks like it's burning. :'3

i dont know if you do it intentionally or not...but you should improve your panel lining...the front skirt's part looks kinda ugly with that panelling...but nice review you got there

Truly a great kit, but so was the original. I also like how the proportions get a little bit bulkier but I do own and love the original Build Burning and I never display it with the orange parts (I don't like how they look in comparison to the blue ones)..so I think I'll wait for an eventual MG of this version.

How do you express the wearing effects on the edges of the gundam? I see that it's grey on the edges on most of the body parts and have been wondering on the technique of the process.

One of the cards, from what I've found, is for the Gundam Duel Company online game. You get a code on the card that allows you to use the Try Burning in the game; as for the other card...I really don't know. My current hypothesis is that it's used in some way with a Ganbarizing/Dice-O styled game for Gundam, but I don't know really know.

So I just got this kit, but the arms have pretty noticeable seamlines, also the clear parts on the shoulders keep falling off and are super loose

After getting this kit for myself, I gotta ask, did anyone else have an issue with the shoulder connections? I can't seem to get mine to connect fully into the sockets, they keep coming out every time I rotate either shoulder.

I've seen one of your review but I forgot which one, it showed the Kamiki Burning as a "backup" display for the kit in review. So I was wondering why you don't have a review for the Kamiki? Redundant or you're just not into that kit?

I know it's a travesty for the Try Burning to hold weapons, but the Exia's chrome short sword and Dark Matter Exia's red blade looks like they could fit in just nice.

Also TYPE V3 the transparent blue parts glows under UV light unlike the build burning blue parts also a new feature :)

Now the question remains. Do I add Gold Paint and stick with the original Blue Plavsky parts for a Nova inspired TBG paint custom. Or Add Red and lean towards a more Pheonix Force inspired version with the flame parts instead? Choices. But I want to attempt both; give it's part set more duality.

This kit looks amazing ! These GBF TRY kits are really something, doesn't this bring you back to the old G1 Transformers days? Where you watch the show and buy you favorite characters toy? This is totally giving me that feel, the show might not be a work of art but it excels at what it was aimed for, selling toys. The fights are awesome with some interesting characters and the style, music and graphics are really awesome. For me this show is better than Recon G, because recon G doesn't know what it is good for while GBF TRY knows exactly what it's doing.

Sir Saber Sadly I'm too young to be from the G1 TF generation. I grew up on 90s Saturaday morning cartoons though, so I know exactly the feeling you're having. And yeah, I completely acknowledge that GBFT is a giant toy commercial but that's why I love it - makes me feel like an excited kid again.

CobraCommanderTFW Nope. Actually, that was never the plan for this kit. I was experimenting with some other technique but my hand was steady enough to pull it off. So half way I switched to light weathering. I really hate how it turned out. But at least I figured out where I went wrong now and not while I'm working on my Master Grade!

Tobirama Senju that place doesnt exist...ALL Bandai Gundam releases are in Japanese, if that bothers you, try searching on Google for the kit and its translated instructions...word of warning though, not all kits are translated...good luck

Tobirama Senju The instructions are drawn, like lego toys or furniture, but there are some symbols you may want to look for them on internet because it's not clear what instruction they represent.

Just how difficult is it changing out the clear blue pieces with the clear red ones? Because my main concern is that I'm gonna accidentally break a peg when taking the thing apart, and having to by another kit for spare parts...

i've seen your videos all i can say is your 100% right with flaws but theres even more you forgot like try burning his foots fire dose not work all the way and it sould of gave parts were when sekia had faced jun his old friend and made 5 try burnings attack so he could beat him
