I did the rest of the work on my 1/16 nitro conversion slash in a flurry, so all I have is this walk around showing what I did. And yes- it’s slow, but this was still being broken in, so I was going 1/4 throttle.

pro tip: you can watch movies on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.

Nice! Usually people junk the nitros and convert to Brushless. Glad to see it the other way around. I just picked up that same truck, and am going to install a brushless system. I still have a Tmaxx 3.3, and an old school RC 10 GT nitro to get my fumes kick! Love that smell!

Absolutely amazing! I was actually thinking to do the same conversion so I would have a modern “platform” for spare parts; NOW I see how! I’ll post mine to you when I get it done!

Get a heat gun. HF corded model is 8 bucks your nitro engines will start first pull I have so much luck that I bought a cordless heat gun from Milwaukee
