I've seen one, and in person it is quite s striking car from the front and side, but I agree that the rear end is not the best.

Hi Rob, Makeup making one in 1/18 scale too but it costs $500 usd and it has a closed wing/spoiler unlike the GTS version with the wing up which I like more. This GTS version is good enough! Totally agree with you about the wheels and brakes and rotors. It looks even better than a $10,000 1/8 Amalgam Ferrari F430 brake rotors that were made of plastics LOL!!

I am sure the R36 will have taillights similar to this, they have been in numerous concept designs. It’s difficult to say how it looks oddly, usually it’s a simple yes or no but there are aspects that I like such as the roof being “chopped down” like you mentioned, it gives a modern and sleeker look. Only time will make it certain for the real R36 design but there are aspects from this car Nissan should take notes on in terms of design.

I think this looks way more forthright than the standard GTR, more elegant and purposeful. I think Nissan should learn from Italdesign. To be fair I'm not the biggest fan of the GTR in the first place and I think it's only only good angles are from the rear. And yeah... photo-etched mesh goes a long, LONG way in making a respectable 1:18 car!

I used to like the looks of this car, but right now I just feel like it misses the marks on too many fronts. Like the wheels seem off to me with thicker looking sidewalls and somewhat Lamborghini looking design. I like the rear wing design, and the color with satin gold accents is amazing. That front though is just too much. Too much of a sculpture, of a longer wider nose, and too open. And this is coming from someone who loves pretty much all skylines and gtrs. Edit: The other colors of the real cars are tough to like. Also that 1.1mil usd price tag.

The quality and pricetag don't match up... For a 1/18 model that goes for +100€ (plus shipping), I expected for the doors to open at least... Also, overall it looks a bit cheap... 70€ max I recently ordered a Phoenix orange Range Rover model that can be put in the same quality level as the R50, BUT the price is way better
