can anybody explain the scoring for me? I don’t know this style of wrestling i heard it’s called freestyle another called it folk style or something of that sort. I also noticed the clock is longer and has only two periods.

Boring match. Both wrestlers were playing is safe. Nothing risky. A highly defensive match.

It is defensive because the other guy defended it. Then he would shoot again, another block, shoot, block. Then there is a lot of defensive hand tactics, etc. Plus, it looks like his shoots were not really 100% committed. If you look closely, he would shoot and try to set up a counter on the other guys defensive. Watch it again. You will learn a lot if you watch every move and fake. All in all, defensive matches are boring to me.

Burroughs was definitely the aggressor the entire match. I can’t wait until either he or Kyle Dake beats the crap out of whatever steroid using Iranian comes out at the Olympics.
