With dedicated brass upgrade RC kit, a vigorous plan applies on convert static Trumpeter 1/200 scaled Bismarck battleship model successfully.
This episode well records the key procedures of the modification work, similar approach could also be utilized on 1/200 series battleship.
Also, this set of brass kit would be found on eBay via: www.ebay.com/itm/Trumpeter-1-...
Thanks for watching, if you have any further technic question, just feel free to let me know.

I wonder what scale horsepower that model makes? That’s definitely way fast than max scale speed, but she sure looks good when you feed her the onions! Very nice quality work!

Hello. There is one thing I don't understand. We make models to look like the real thing. Why do we motorize them to look like toys? That model looks like it has 2,000,000 hp. move the prop at less than 400 rpm which is the actual angular speed. The Bismarck 1:200 I build moves fine with that alone. A single motor from a shaver is enough to move all three props.
@sbenitez1768
@sbenitez1768 Жыл бұрын

Saludos

@@sbenitez1768 mi barco aun no flota. No tengo nada publicado.

Have you had any luck converting 1/500 or 1/700 Battleships? What is the smallest scale you would recommend converting?
@Hugo-ot7xu
@Hugo-ot7xu 5 жыл бұрын
That’s a great idea and I have seen local fans do so, even on a 1/700 Warspite but with just one shaft as simplified propulsion plan. At that scale level, very gram on load should be evaluated very carefully. Personally, I think 350 scale is more suitable for entry level because it really has a perfect balance on size, degrees of difficulty and cost. When the scale shrinking to 700, many kits should be made dedicatedly. Definitely, it would be a great challenge that it may require much more patience and experience.
@CUISONY
@CUISONY 3 жыл бұрын
Although the smaller scale the more unrealistic hydrobehavior, I would like to take the challenge to convert one 1:700. I can find 1:350 conversation part on eBay but not able to find 1:700 parts. 1:350 parts can be use for 1:200 ideally.
