After a long break, I'm back with something really cool. We start building a model of the German cruiser Prinz Eugen. In this part we will make the hull and some more important parts. Great to be back here again. :)

I am surprised at the less than 'Average' fit from Trumpeter. But thehull detailing youproduced is excellent. I will look forward to the next video. I wonder is it possible Trumpeter bought old moulds from some other company. I am just close to finishing a 1/350 scale Tamiya Tirpitz. An upgraded moulding it said, but with 1978 on most of the major mouldings and sprues. I ordered a full Photo etch kit and timber deck; otherwise it would have been an old plastic model. The Dazzle camo took a lot of time; espically with a coat of matt clear coat between each colour. For the port holes and windows I used a sharp pencil to blacken the glass area . It gives a slight reflection like glass would and it gets sealed with the final matt clear coat. Its good you can make your own 3D parts in resin, so much more accurate.

I believe reversing the symbol like you did actually means good luck and peace in a number of Eastern faiths. By the way, love what you did weathering the hull

Would you consider producing the printed funnel for selling I would be interested in purchasing one if possible as it really adds to the look of the ship. Enjoying the build by the way the weathering looks fantastic
