I just got back into ship building after an 11 year gap and it was because I saw this kit and fell in love! Then I saw how small the PE was and panicked! I've been building up my skills and learning new techniques for about a year now so that I can do this kit justice. Mine will never be as good as yours but I really can't wait to see more, what you've done so far has been excellent!

Holy smoke, just when I thought you couldn't do anything more fiddly than the 20mm AA guns, you go and make bolt heads for a secondary turret! Far to fiddly for my old eyes to even attempt, but I am in awe of your skills and patience. Thanks for sharing and a brilliant job, well done!

The barrel boots are a masterpiece! I have said before when I have made other comments that you are more than a modeler, an ARTIST! I say that again! The way you do, I have never seen before in my whole life! You are blessed my friend! Keep doing your passion because this gives you a real life! Not just an existence, the way many of us, do...

Unreal! You should be extremely proud of your work. A model like this is a real achievement. I’m currently making the Revel 1/350 Bismarck (which I imagine is almost identical to your model) and have put it down and procrastinated multiple times. Your video is giving me the motivation to finish it off. I wish I had put after market guns and stuff on mine though, might go back and remake those parts.

Hello Sir, You are a true craftsman. I am new to model building and started as a rehabilitation for my injuries. I am working on a 1/400 Tirpitz. Trying to follow your lead on these videos. @EbroinSong
@EbroinSong 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the comment. Magic Sculpt is sticky, to reduce the stickiness, I apply petroleum jelly to my tools. Less stickiness, more smooth. And after sculpting, I rub the surface with soft brush soaked with lacquer thinner. I hope this reply helps your build, and good luck with your rehabilitation.

Amazing video and craftsmanship! Thanks so much for posting this it's fun to watch. If I might make a humble suggestion with regard to filming: You should use more lighting and stop up your aperture so you your depth of field is not so tight. In so much of the footage your finger or something like that will be in focus, but the work piece, which is only an inch or so away, is very out of focus. Just a friendly suggestion, and thanks again for showing your amazing work!

Masterful work!. If I might be so bold to point out something to you... It is better to cut PE on a ceramic tile or metal base, as cutting it on the "soft", moveable surface of a cutting mat causes it to bend slightly, necessitating re-flattening. I think perhaps you already know this, and were just cutting corners.

Nice. Real big & nice. I know it's story so well. I have an urge to do the 4 ships that clashed when the Hood was blown up. Some Germans were diabolically evil beyond compare but, the German Navy was a normal foe who built nice stuff. U-boats were just doing their job. They did it well, but, their surface ships did not have much action success. Their Raiders did better than their capital ships. The Bismarck tried but did not last long. Nice video. Enjoy the adventure. Thanks.

I built Tamiya's Tirpitz long time ago, it was very very old kit, older than me. It wasn't very pleasant to build that old kit, wrong proportion, wrong detail.. worse than revell's on detail-wise. I don't remember about its fitting and plastics though, not bad I guess.

I’m a fan of the battleship Tirpitz and was thinking about building her at some point, only just learned of this 1/350 kit and I’m currently trying hard not to buy one as I have a few kits already! This video certainly didn’t help as you show wonderful modelling skills in the construction of this kit and the kit itself looks amazing!
